TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FRIJJ MOOING BOTTLE PROMOTION (“Promotion”)

Terms & Conditions

THE BITS YOU WANT TO KNOW:

Main Prize(s):

100 (one hundred) prizes of £1,000 (one thousand pounds sterling) each (or 1,000 one thousand Euros for entrants in the Republic of Ireland).

 

Promotional Period:

ending 05.10.2024 at 23:59 (“Closing Date”)

 

How to Enter:

Before the end of the promotional period, entrants must purchase a Promotional Bottle and remove the cap. Winning Promotional Bottles are: (a) fitted with a special function which emits a “mooing” sound when opened; (b) contain an information leaflet and voucher inside to the value of 1 x single 330ml FRijj bottle; and (c) have a URN printed underneath the cap. Subject to the successful completion of the prize claim and verification process (and correctly answering the unique skills based question for residents of the Republic of Ireland), the entrant will win a cash prize. Entrants must retain their original winning Promotional Bottle and cap for verification purposes or this will invalidate their prize win.

 

Promotional Bottle:

a promotional bottle is a single 330ml FRijj milkshake bottle (non-price marked pack) in strawberry, banana, chocolate, fudge brownie and cookie dough variants and a single 330ml FRijj milkshake bottle in a price marked pack in strawberry, banana, chocolate and fudge brownie, each flashed with “Win £1,000 – Hear a Moo and Win”.

 

Unique Reference Number (“URN”):

a unique reference number is an 8 digit alphanumeric code. A URN is printed on the inside of a winning Promotional Bottle. If there is no URN or it is not legible on a winning Promotional Bottle, or the winning Promotional Bottle does not make a sound, entrants should contact the Promotor’s marketing agency by calling the freephone number shown on the leaflet enclosed in the winning Promotional Bottle.

 

Geographical Restrictions: Open to residents of the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland) and the Republic of Ireland.

 

THE PROMOTER:

  1. The Promoter is Muller UK & Ireland Group LLP (t/a Müller Yogurts & Desserts), a limited liability partnership registered in England with partnership number OC384928 whose registered office is at Shrewsbury Road, Market Drayton, Shropshire TF9 3SQ (the “Promoter”). Entries to this address will NOT be accepted.
  2. This Promotion is run in conjunction with HRG (UK) Limited, a limited company registered in England with company number 02527817 whose registered office is at Mercury House, 8 Sandy Way, Grange Park, Northampton, NN4 5EJ.

WHO CAN ENTER:

  1. This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland) and the Republic of Ireland, aged 18 years or over. Proof of age and residence may be required and entrants will be required to have a valid bank account to claim their prize.
  2. This Promotion is not open to employees of the Promoter, such employees’ immediate families or anyone else professionally involved in the Promotion.

HOW TO ENTER:  

  1. To enter, entrants must purchase a Promotional Bottle and unscrew the cap. Winning Promotional Bottles are: (a) fitted with a special function which emits a “mooing” sound when opened; (b) contain an information leaflet and voucher inside to the value of 1 x single 330ml FRijj bottle; and (c) have a URN printed underneath the cap. Subject to the successful completion of the prize claim and verification process (and correctly answering the unique skills based question for residents of the Republic of Ireland) described in clauses 6 and 7 below, the entrant will win their cash prize. Entrants must retain their original winning Promotional Bottle and cap for verification purposes or this will invalidate their prize win.
  2. Winning Promotional Bottles will contain an information leaflet and voucher inside the bottle to the value of 1 x FRijj bottle (330ml). Entrants must call 0800 233 5877 from the UK and NI (Freephone from landlines and mobiles) or 1800 911 002 from ROI (Freephone from landlines and mobiles) before the Closing Date in order to claim their cash prize. The phone lines will be manned between 9am and 5.30pm Monday – Friday. If the entrant calls outside of these hours or on a weekend, the entrant  will hear a recorded message and be asked to leave their name, contact number and address, and quote the URN printed on the inside of the bottle and the entrant shall receive a call back from the Promotor’s marketing agency on the next working day.
  3.  The entrant will be required to confirm the following details to the Promotor’s marketing agency:
    1. UK (incl. NI) residents will be asked to confirm the following verification details: the entrant’s name, address, date of birth, phone number, bank details and the URN printed on the inside of the winning Promotional Bottle.
    2. For residents of the Republic of Ireland, they will be asked a unique skills-based question which must be answered correctly by the entrant. If the question is answered correctly, the entrant shall then be asked to confirm the following verification details: the entrant’s name, address, date of birth, phone number, bank details and the URN printed on the inside of the winning Promotional Bottle.
  4. Following the initial telephone verification process, the Promotor’s marketing agency will send a confirmation letter and pre-paid recorded delivery bag to the entrant in order for the winning Promotional Bottle and cap to be returned from the entrant. Entrants must not send their winning Promotional Bottle and cap by any other method, and must not tamper or damage the winning Promotional Bottle or sound chip in any way, as doing so will invalidate their prize win.
  5. Once the winning Promotional Bottle and cap has been received and validated against the information provided by the entrant above, the entrant will be awarded their cash prize via the bank details provided and within 28 days of receiving the Promotional Bottle and cap.
  6. Entrants must not use a false name or email address or provide any false information when providing details for the Promotion. The Promoter may at its entire discretion refuse, remove, or suspend registration at any time, for any reason.
  7. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions and you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim a prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible.

THE PRIZE(S):

  1. Each prize is 1 x £1,000 (one thousand pounds Sterling) (or 1 x 1,000, one thousand Euros for entrants in the Republic of Ireland). There will be a total of 100 (one hundred) prizes available to be won during the Promotional Period. There is 1 (one) prize for each of the 100 (one hundred) winning Promotional Bottles. Each of the 100 (one hundred) winning Promotional Bottles will be randomly added to the cases of other Promotional Bottles under independent supervision.
  2. Each prize will be given by way of a BACs transfer for the sum of £1,000 (one thousand pounds Sterling) (or 1,000, one thousand Euros for entrants in the Republic of Ireland) to the bank details specified by the winner via the free phone number, within 28 days of the Promotor receiving the winning Promotional Bottle and cap from the winner in accordance with clause 8 and 9.  The winner confirms that the bank details are their own personal bank details and are complete and correct, the Promotor will not be liable for any loss to the winners or failure or delay in receiving the prize which results from the entrant providing incorrect bank details.
  3. Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promotor, the prize will only be awarded directly to the winner(s).
  4. Whilst the Promotor will make every effort to honour the advertised prize(s) (in whole or in part), the Promotor reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any prize with an alternative of similar value (in whole or in part).
  5. The Promoter will take all reasonable steps to contact the winning entrants in accordance with clauses 7 and 8 to arrange for the delivery of the prize(s), but if there is no response within 7 days, or the contact details are incorrect, or the entrant fails to return their Promotional Bottle to the Promotor, the prize win will be invalid.  
  6. If for any reason, any or all of the 100 (one hundred) prizes are not claimed or awarded by the Closing Date, no additional winning Promotional Bottles will be produced.

DATA PROTECTION:

  1. The Promoter will only process entrant’s personal data in connection with this Promotion to administer entries and/or as otherwise required by law. Full details are set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy which is available at https://www.muller.co.uk/privacy-policy/.
  2. The Promoter may also share personal data with third parties who will be supporting the Promotion. This Promotion is supported by:

  4. In accordance with the current guidelines, if you are a winner, the Promoter may publish, or make available on request, information that confirms an award took place including your surname, county and, if applicable, the entry itself. You have the right to object, or to ask for less information to be made available. LIABILITY:

  1. Winners agree to be fully responsible for any personal or incidental expenses and/or tax liabilities incurred in claiming and using the prize(s).
  2. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from entry into the Promotion or a winner’s acceptance or use of the prize(s). Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Promoter will not be responsible for any damage or loss to an entrant that is not reasonably foreseeable. The Promoter’s responsibility for any damage, loss or injury to an entrant under these terms and conditions or otherwise in connection with the Promotion shall be limited to the value of the prize won by the entrant.
  3. Insofar as permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any personal injury or death, resulting from entry into the Promotion or a winner’s acceptance of the prize.
  4. The Promoter will not be responsible for losses, failures or delays relating to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including (but not limited to) acts of God, war, pandemics, strikes, disease, disputes, third party website or platforms (including social media) not in its direct control or the acts or defaults of any suppliers of prizes.
  5. Each entrant will indemnify (and will keep indemnified) the Promoter and its affiliates against all costs, claims, losses, damages, expenses (including legal expenses) or other liability arising as a result of a breach of these terms and conditions or negligence.

THE FINAL BITS:

  1. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  2. Entrants may only enter the Promotion for personal non-commercial use.
  3. If any entries have been submitted using scripts, automated systems, collaborative practices, brute force or via a third party for commercial gain, such entries will be deemed invalid.
  4. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to eliminate or disqualify you from participating in the Promotion.
  5. The rights and remedies of the Promoter under these terms and conditions are without prejudice to its rights under the law. These terms and conditions shall not create any rights or benefits enforceable by any third party by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
  6. If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it will be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision will be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause will not affect the validity of the rest of these terms and conditions.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so, without the prior notice at any time, for whatever reason and without liability to any entrants for doing so. Please check these terms and conditions regularly as any changes are effective immediately to any entrants.
  8. By entering this promotion all entrants agree unequivocally to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  9. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law. Any dispute arising out of this Promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.
